Whether you believe it or not, Bill Ainsley is, in fact, a boy, admittedly of the decidedly feminine persuasion. Now that he is relatively out from beneath his mother's thumb, Bill is determined to be the boy that he's been trying to tell everyone he is for years - it's not his fault that he's fantastically horrible at it, and has a disconcerting tendency to knit when stressed.
Bill Ainsley is a certain fangirl's personal fleshing-out of the image character from I'm a Boy, performed by The Who. he belongs, in reality, to whichever of them came up with the song in the first place, and is just being borrowed for milli-fun.
